FREQUENTLY
ASKED
QUESTIONS
WHAT
IS THE WEATHER
LIKE?
In
the spring, by late
April the air warms
up to 60 degrees
Fahrenheit during
the day and most
signs of snow are
gone except in the
deep coniferous
forest. May through
August see daytime
highs of 70-80
degrees Fahrenheit
to night time lows
of 35-55 degrees
Fahrenheit. Quick
heavy rainfalls are
not uncommon,
although sunny
skies are the norm.
In September and
early October, days
are usually
50-60
degrees Fahrenheit,
with chilly nights
often around the
freezing mark.
November and early
December bring new
snowfalls with
daytime
temperatures
averaging 25-35
degrees Fahrenheit
and cold nights in
the 0-20 degree
Fahrenheit range.
There can always be
exceptions to the
normal weather
patterns, so be
prepared.
